World War Two

During World War Two, there were over 405,000 casualties.

The National Archives and Records Administration has made available the data for Prisoners of War, Missing in Action and Killed in Action Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Air Force personal.

The data that is available is from the War Department and from the United States Navy and was compiled in September of 1946.

The information you are about to view is in GIF format. The page number, casualty description by County name and file size of the images are made available.

The data is compiled as is. We do not have intentions of transcribing the data as we feel there is to much information to take any chances of having typos.

Each state will have two tables.

The first table will be for World War Two Casualties for the Air Force & Army and the second table will be for World War Two Casualties for the Coast Guard, Marine Corps & Navy
